Slyder is an online fantasy draft platform where users draft a virtual team and score points based on the real-life performances of players in the Australian Football League (“AFL”) and Australian Football League Womens (“AFLW”). It also provides content and tools such as a mock draft lobby tailored for users who play fantasy draft (together “Platform”). This Website (slyder.team) ("Website") is operated by Magic Sports Online Pty Ltd ABN 54 675 250 487 (“Company”).
The Company and the Website are not endorsed by or affiliated in any way with the AFL, the AFLW or the official AFL Fantasy website.
Please read these Terms of Use carefully before accessing or using the Website. By registering and participating, users (“you”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
1.1. Registering as a user of Slyder is free and open to anyone. Users under 18 years of age at the time of registration must seek their parent or guardian’s permission (including consenting on the registrant’s behalf to these Terms of Use).
The Company reserves the right to limit the number of users in Slyder at any time for any reason. The Company reserves the right remove users at any time for any reason.
Registration
2.1. You must create an account to access the Platform via www.slyder.team/register. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information about yourself and to maintain and promptly update any account information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
2.2. There are no fees or charges for registration and use of the Slyder platform.
2.3. The Company reserves the right to remove a users’ registration who does not abide by the Website Terms of Use.
2.4. Users who upload content containing offensive or defamatory comments or team names, as wholly determined by the Company, may have their registration removed at any time.
3.1. The Company may promote third party content on the Website, Podcasts or Social Media channels that relate to Slyder. Users should read the third party’s Terms of Use prior to engaging with their products or services.
4.1. The Company provides no prizes for winners of any league and takes no responsibility for any prizes offered for any individual leagues.
4.2. Any prizes associated with Slyder Survivor will be subject to the Slyder Survivor Terms & Conditions
5.1. To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained to person or property, including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss, by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent while playing Slyder.
5.2. Nothing in these Terms of Use affects, nor is intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have which are not able to be excluded under applicable Australian consumer protection laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Company for breach of any such rights is limited to the supplying of the relevant goods or services again.
5.3. Slyder is fantasy sports Platform aimed to be communal, fun, and an escape from the burden of everyday life. However, fantasy sports can also cause angst, stress and disappointment at times. While the Company and each of its Associated Entities attempt to celebrate the fun component of fantasy sports, there is no guarantee that you will not experience the negative impacts and you do so at your own risk. You can remove your registration at any time by emailing us at info@magicsports.online.
6.1. Users will have the option to Magic Up – Slyder via the Website. Magic Up - Slyder contains information, analysis and other services and content intended to increase enjoyment of the game. You do not need Magic Up - Slyder to create a league, draft a team or use the Slyder platform.
Magic Up – Slyder content is provided by the Company and the information is integrated into your Slyder account. Payment for Magic Up - Slyder is charged by the Company.
The Magic Up - Slyder content can only be accessed by users who have made a successful payment at registration or via the Magic Up page.
Magic Up - Slyder contains information and analysis that relate to advanced statistics and the attempted prediction of future events or performances. The Company does not guarantee or warrant that the information from Magic Up - Slyder will be correct, accurate, reliable or fit for any particular purpose.
Magic Up – Slyder is not designed to, and does not, increase your chances of winning a prize; it simply provides centralised content that may enhance a user’s experience.
6.2. Magic Up – Slyder costs $14.95 (including GST) upfront and access to the service will commence at the time of payment until the end of the 2025 AFL Men’s Home and Away Season (currently expected to be Sunday 31 August).
6.3. The Company may provide complimentary Magic Up - Slyder services their own discretion.
6.4. Magic Up - Slyder accounts are not transferable.
6.5. Any user using Magic Up - Slyder agrees that they do so at their own risk.
6.6. By signing up to Magic Up - Slyder, you agree to the Terms of Use of the Company.
6.7. The Company may offer additional promotions, services, prizes and rewards for Users who sign elect to Magic Up - Slyder. To be eligible for the additional Magic Up rewards, subscription must occur prior to the cutoff date and time listed in the promotion.
6.8. The Company may offer a separate premium service on this Website in addition to Magic Up which may require additional payment for access.
6.9 Slyder Magic Up does not grant access to the other premium Magic Up content and information provided by the Company outside of the Website, including Bolter or AFLW Slyder, which will both require a separate product.
7.1. Leagues will have the option to upgrade their league to a Magic League via the League Settings page. Magic Leagues have access to further customisation, such as custom bye round scoring and keeper league functionality, intended to increase enjoyment of the game. You do not need a Magic League to create a league, draft a team or use the Slyder platform.
The Magic League functionality can only be accessed by league commissioners who have made a successful payment.
7.2. Payment for the creation of Magic Leagues is upfront per league and the league’s access to the benefits will commence at the time of payment until the end of the 2025 AFL Men’s Home & Away Season, currently estimated to be 31 August 2025.
7.3. The Company may provide complimentary Magic League benefits their own discretion.
7.4. Magic Leagues only apply to an individual league and are not transferable.
7.5. By signing up to a Magic League, you agree to the Terms of Use of the Company.
7.6. Magic Leagues does not grant access to the other premium Magic Up content and information provided by the Company inside this website and outside of the Website, including Slyder – Magic Up, Bolter Magic Up, Bolter AFLW Magic Up or Slyder AFLW Magic Up, which will require a separate product and payment.
7.7. Magic Leagues that reactivate their league for the future seasons will be required to make payment for their Magic League for the new season prior to the relevant draft.
8.1. Slyder intends to offer Slyder Survivor, a single-entry draft competition commencing prior to the start of the 2025 AFL Home & Away Season (“Slyder Survivor”). Registration and participation in Slyder Survivor, a single-entry draft competitions integrated into the Platform, will be subject to a separate set of terms and conditions (“Survivor Terms & Conditions”). Users will also need to agree to the Survivor Terms & Conditions to enter the Survivor competition.
8.2. Slyder Survivor is subject to expressions of interest that can be made via slyder.team/survivor. The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or not proceed with Slyder Survivor should the required pre-registration numbers not be met.
9.1. Slyder mock drafts completed within this Platform are for entertainment and practice purposes only. The use of mock drafts is subject to these Terms of Use. Any drafts conducted via Slyder’s mock drafts will not be carried over into any other team or league.
10.1. All users acknowledge and agree that the Company is liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms of Use insofar as the performance of such obligation is prevented by an event beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to, a pandemic or epidemic, earthquake, fire, flood or any other natural disaster, labour dispute, riot, revolution, terrorism, acts of restraint of government or regulatory authorities, failure of computer equipment, ongoing internet or telecommunications outage or failure or delay of sources from which data relevant to Slyder is obtained.
10.2. If for any reason, the AFL Men’s 2025 Season is impacted by an event which materially in the reasonable discretion of the Company alters the playing of the Season, the Company may, in its reasonable discretion, pause or abandon Slyder.
11.1. As access to Slyder is provided using the internet, the Company does not provide any warranties or guarantees that access to Slyder, Mock Drafts, Slyder Survivor, Basic Leagues, Magic Leagues and/or Magic Up, will be free of outages, interruptions or other similar issues.
12.1. The Company owns all aspects of the Platform, including, without limitation, all logos, trademarks, software, tools, links, code, recommendations, and other content or material provided in or through use of the Platform (collectively “IP”). Except as expressly permitted herein, you must not, nor enable any other person to, copy, scrape or replicate any of the IP for use outside of the Slyder Platform.
13.1. The Company, its Related Entities and their directors, employees and agents are not responsible for and shall not be liable for:
i. the consequence of any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Company, that may cause the Platform to be disrupted or corrupted;
ii. any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with Slyder
13.2. The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend Slyder, should virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes beyond the control of the Company, in its sole opinion, corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of the Platform.
The Company reserves the right in its sole discretion to amend these Terms of Use, or the operation of Slyder, at any time as a result of any unforeseen events or circumstances, or any cause beyond the control of the Company.
13.3. Users can only access and use Slyder for the purpose of participating in Slyder, and not for any other purpose. Without limiting the above, users must not:
i. use any data mining or similar data gathering tools;
ii. make copies, electronic or otherwise of any of the content available through Slyder (“Slyder Content”);
iii. provide or otherwise communicate any of the Slyder Content by electronic or other means to any other person;
iv. distribute or display any Slyder Content, including on any electronic network or any other Platform;
v. alter or change any part of the Slyder Content; or
vi. create any derivative works based on the Slyder Content.
The Company reserves the right in its sole discretion to deregister and remove any user who breaches any of these requirements.
13.4. The Company may collect information about users, including for example a users name and contact details which users provide when registering for Slyder (“Registrant’s Information”) in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy. The Company may disclose Registrant’s Information to its Related Entities.

13.5. The Company considers Slyder to be a Platform that allows users to play in their own leagues in a competition based on skill not chance.
13.6. By accessing and using the Website, users consent to their personal information being used for the purposes set in these Terms of Use.
